A 45-year old Murfreesboro Street man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop. It was also revealed Walter Edwin Duncan, Jr. had an active warrant for his arrest. Murfreesboro Police Officer Richard Whitley reports he stopped Duncan's vehicle for an expired tag Friday morning just after 7. After running his driver license number, it was discovered he had an active warrant for his arrest. Officer Whitley reports a check of Duncan's vehicle turned up marijuana and a multi-colored pipe. Duncan faces new charges of possession of a schedule four drug and drug paraphernalia. He'll answer to those charges in General Sessions Court on October 27th.
