Two Murfreesboro Police Motorcycle Officers Collide with One Another Tuesday

Around 10:00 o'clock Tuesday (8/29/2017) morning two Murfreesboro motorcycle officers were enroute to an injury accident when something went wrong and they collided at the intersection of Northwest Broad Street and Hamilton Drive, in front of Martins Home and Garden.

The accident is under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans told WGNS...

Reports at this point indicate the injuries were not life threatening. They were taken by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

In the accident, MPD Officers Chris Harris and Chris Waters both received minor to moderate injuries.
