Two subjects arrested after search warrant executed in Murfreesboro

Two men by the name of Robert and Richard Sanders have been arrested in Murfreesboro after a search warrant was executed at the home of Robert Sanders. The search unfolded at 4209 Woodbury Pike.

45 Year old Robert Sanders was charged for maintaining a dwelling for the use or sale of drugs.

Police say that marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were located in Sanders' bedroom. A bag of methamphetamine was also recovered from the home. Officers also found a bag that of what they suspected to be heroin in the house. The alleged heroin was sent to the TBI Crime Lab for testing.

43 Year old Richard Sanders was arrested due to an outstanding felony violation of probation warrant in Cannon County. Evidently, he was also accused of lying to police about his identity, so he was charged with criminal impersonation.

The two will face the courts in Rutherford County on August 30, 2018.
