Murfreesboro Police were called to investigate a case where two females were said to have overdosed.

Evidently, the two women were at Whiskey Dix Nightclub on West Main Street when one said that she started feeling sick. The victim then went home to her friend's house in Smyrna where she was staying while in town. She later awoke in a hospital room at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Staff at the medical center told the woman that a blood test showed that both alcohol and amphetamines were in her system. Apparently, someone put the drug into her drink, possibly while she was in the restroom. Hospital staff told the woman that the police should be called to report the incident.

Officers then confirmed that an ambulance was called to Winthrop Avenue in Smyrna and two females were transported to the hospital after arriving at that address shortly after leaving the bar. The question now is, who put amphetamines in the drinks that belonged to the two females?

So far, no arrests have been made.
