Two auto crashes on Broad Street near 840 snarled traffic Friday around lunchtime. The first happened around 11:30 when one person was trapped inside a vehicle. Lifeflight was called to the scene to transport at least one victim of the four-vehicle crash. While traffic was halted inbound from Smyrna, another accident occurred when a truck rear-ended another car. The Murfreesboro Police Fatal Accident Crash Team is investigating the crashes.
