Due to financial troubles the U.S. Post Office is facing, some local branches may have to cut their hours of operation to save money. The Postal Service is looking into cutting their hours at rural post offices in places like Eagleville, College Grove and Gladeville. They will also consider cutting delivery days down to five instead of the current six.

The U.S. Postal Service has lost nearly $30-billion since year 2000.
