United Way Announces Major Investments Into the Community

The United Way made a major announcement about recent investments into the community on Thursday. The local non-profit reported that they awarded grant money to a variety of programs in Rutherford and Cannon Counties. Donors to the United Way invested over $1.8-million dollars into non-profit groups like the Boys and Girls Club, Project Help, the Primary Care & Hope Clinic and more.

Some of the key awards included:

Project Help: $100,000
Big Brothers and Big Sisters: $30,000

Primary Care and Hope Clinic: $60,000
American Red Cross: $118,000
Exchange Club Family Center: $28,000
Boys and Girls Club of Rutherford County: $140,000
