We have an update on a three vehicle accident that occurred several days ago in Murfreesboro. The crash in question happened on Medical Center Parkway at the I-24 Exit Ramp. We have learned that four days after the accident was worked by Murfreesboro Police, one of the persons involved in the wreck died.

77-Year old Ned Livingston was the passenger in one of the three cars involved in the mishap on January 27th at 2:30 in the afternoon. Livingston is from Mohawk, Tennessee, East of Knoxville. According to Police, Livingston was transported from the scene of the crash to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital because of chest pains. Livingston’s condition worsened to the point where he needed to be transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville where he later died. According to the “Fatal Accident Crash Team” incident report, “Mr. Livingston died from his injuries sustained in the crash.”

Further details have not been released by the police department.
