UPDATE: Deadly Accident ONE

We have more news on that Friday night two vehicle crash on Medical Center Parkway near Searcy Street. After a preliminary investigation, The Murfreesboro Police Fatal Accident Crash Team (F.A.C.T.) announced they believe a vehicle driven by Robert Thomas Jr. of Asbury Lane, was traveling west on Medical Center Parkway, lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center turn lane and traveled into the path of a vehicle traveling east on Medical Center Parkway. The eastbound vehicle was driven by Randall Shelton of Hermitage, TN. Both drivers were transported by Rutherford County EMS to MTMC where Robert Thomas died from his injuries. Randall Shelton was treated for minor injuries and released.

The crash is still under investigation.
