UPDATE: We have more news on a double murder suspect out of Texas who was arrested in Murfreesboro.

A man wanted for a double homicide in Fort Worth, Texas who was arrested in Murfreesboro on April 8, 2018 is still being held in Rutherford County.

Paige Terrell Lawyer, age 38, allegedly killed his girlfriend and her daughter in Texas on April 6, 2018. Evidently, he had been in trouble with the law before in Texas for various domestic violence related incidents against the same girlfriend.

In 2016, he reportedly grabbed her by the throat during an argument. In 2017, he was charged three more times with abusing the woman in Fort Worth. Then on the 6th of April, he reportedly killed her and the 10-year-old daughter inside their Texas apartment. The two were strangled to death.

After the murders he reportedly made his way to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, eventually being arrested in the Blackman area on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Authorities in Texas will transport the man back to Fort Worth in the near future.
