UPDATE: Man and woman arrested for Murfreesboro Kangaroo Gas Station robbery

Two suspects in the Kangaroo gas station robbery that unfolded on December 19th in Murfreesboro have been apprehended after a tip to police.

21 Year old Tamrana Tillman and 25 year old Jaquan Berry allegedly robbed the Kangaroo at 302 West Northfield Boulevard and were caught about ten days later. The suspects were found to be at a home on Huntington Drive in Murfreesboro.

When police went to the home to apprehend the suspects, they located a vehicle in the backyard of the house that had been reported as stolen in La Vergne.

Once the two were taken into custody for questioning, the duo allegedly admitted to robbing the Kangaroo gas station. Mr. Berry further admitted to stealing the car in LaVergne. Berry also admitted to stealing a car from the Mapco gas station on Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro and later selling it in Manchester. A machete that was allegedly used in one of the crimes was confiscated as evidence.

Mr. Berry was charged with aggravated robbery and three counts of theft over $1,000. Ms. Tillman was charged with aggravated robbery.

The two will face the courts on February 13, 2017.
