Charges have been amended for 39 year old Anousack Imanivong of Murfreesboro. The South Church Street man has been charged with Second Degree Murder in the death of 40 Year old Kaithong Keomek who was reportedly beat to death on September 18, 2016. Keomek was laid to rest this past Sunday (9/25/16).

Keomek was at the Waterford Place Apartment of Imanivong when the two became engaged in an argument. Police believe that during the argument, Keomek was beaten by Imanivong.

Imanivong was originally arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, but those charges changed to Second Degree Murder shortly after Keomek died a day after the incident (9/19/16).

The case remains under investigation and Imanivong remains jailed in Rutherford County under a 1,050,000 bond.
