Rutherford County Assistant District Attorney J. Paul Newman says that Murfreesboro Police continue to search for a murder suspect after locating the body of a woman this past December (below 42-seconds).

The body of the victim was located outside the city limits near Elam Mill Rd. The body was discovered by Rutherford County Sheriff's deputies in December of 2016.

Investigators believe the 47 year old suspect Romolo Hernandez-Mayo, AKA: Romulo Hernandez-Mayorga, has fled Tennessee, however anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to call Murfreesboro Police at 615-893-1311. To remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867).
