We have more information on a conference discussing how the prophet Muhammad was a good “peace-loving person” that will be held in Smyrna on Tuesday, March 19th. The event will be at 101 Maple Street, Smyrna, Tennessee. Property records show that address is owned by the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam Inc., USA. The group has offices all over the United States.

According to the press release that WGNS received from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, they are hosting the conference, “to respond to allegations against history’s most peace-loving person—Prophet Muhammad.”

Hamid Malik told WGNS in an email, “this event is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn about Prophet Muhammad from practicing American Muslims. Over the past several years Prophet Muhammad’s character has been maligned on numerous occasions, including a hateful video. This event provides an educational and civil response, demonstrates why over 1 billion Muslims revere Prophet Muhammad, and serves to build bridges of understanding.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Chapter that oversees Alabama and Tennessee are putting the event in Smyrna together on the 19th.

The information WGNS received stated

“The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans more than 200 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the first American-Muslim organizations.”

“The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long- awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. Ahmad claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. The Community believes that God sent Ahmad, like Jesus, to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival and moderation. He divested Muslims of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.”

More on this subject:

WGNS found on a website entitled, alislam.org that is labeled as the official website of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a pledge that is taught to young Muslim children…

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Pledge:

“I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. He is One and has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

I solemnly pledge that I shall always be ready to sacrifice my life, wealth, time and honor for the sake of my faith, country and nation.

Likewise I shall be ready to offer any sacrifice for guarding the institution of Khilafat-e Ahmadiyya. Moreover I shall deem it essential to abide by any "Maroof" decision made by Khalifatul Masih. Inshallah.”

According to the Women's Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community

"I affirm that I shall always be ready to sacrifice my life, property, time and children for the cause of the faith and the community. I shall always adhere to the truth and shall always be prepared to make every sacrifice for the perpetuation of the Ahmadiyya Khilafat, InshaAllah."

The site, alislam.org shows that “Khilafat establishes the authority of Allah on earth, and the Khalifa strives to uphold that authority within the community of followers. “

A 2009 workbook for Muslim persons entitled, the “Taleem & Tarbiyat Woorkbook,”

“Lajna affirms that they shall always be ready to sacrifice their lives, property, time and children for the cause of the faith and the community.”

Lajna Imaillah is an auxiliary, non-political and religious organization of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. It is for women above the age of 15. The workbook can be found on the website, “ahmadiyya.us,” which is the person whom WGNS received the email from discussing the conference that will be held in Smyrna on March 19, 2013 (email for press release was from Hamid Malik, hamid.h.malik@ahmadiyya.us).

WGNS spoke to Waseem A. Sayed, PhD via email on 3/4/13. He told us...

"So that we are clear, I am a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and as you will have seen from our website, we are Muslims who believe in the Messiah Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, peace be on him."

We proposed the  in an email that if Women are supposedly taught to be ready to sacrifice their children… how could the Muslim community be so peaceful? The reply we received:

"With regard to your specific questions I would say that yes, we are ready, willing, and able to offer any sacrifice for the sake of peace and to safeguard the principles that are enshrined in the Holy Quran and exemplified by Muhammad (peace be on him) and revived in our age by the Holy Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community."

"The Holy Quran teaches that life is sacred and unjust taking of a single life is akin to the killing of the whole of humanity."

"The Holy Quran prohibits the creation of disorder so strongly that it does not even give to those who are unjustly persecuted the right to create havoc and disturb the peace and take the law into their own hands. It tells such people to be patient and pray BUT if that is impossible, tells them to leave and seek shelter in other places in the earth. This is what the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be on him, did. He bore severe persecution for 13 long years and when life became impossible after such prolonged mistreatment he left his home and belongings and migrated to a town 240 miles away. This example is what we follow. When some 86 members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community were martyred while praying in two of our mosques in Lahore recently, THIS is what our current international head, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Fifth Successor (Khalifa) to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Messiah, told us to do."

"So, yes, we are ready to even lay down our lives for these kinds of causes. Not to kill and harm people but to protect and save from harm. Not to create disorder but to promote peace. "
