Mike Fitzhugh is officially the new Rutherford County Sheriff. After being voted in by the Rutherford County Commission last Thursday and sworn in after the meeting, he received his bond at 12:01am Monday morning.
Police have released the names of those accused of operating a meth lab at Campus Crossings North Apartments. Acting on tips, Murfreesboro Police shut-down the meth lab found in an apartment unit at 285 North Rutherford Boulevard at Alumni Drive, next to MTSU. The call came into police around 4:30 Monday afternoon (12/10/2012).
Arrested was 32-year old Jessica Marie Zebari and 32-year old Carl Edward Toombs. The two were charged with initiation of meth, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of illegal drug use or manufacturing, and felony reckless endangerment. Each of the two were placed under a $173-thousand bond. They will appear in court on February 12th.
As of December 12th, the two have not bonded out of jail.
