A May 25th shots fired call on February Street in Murfreesboro has yet to lead to an arrest. The incident was reported on the 25th at about 7:30 in the evening.

Evidently, a dark colored car, possibly a two door Infiniti, stopped near the park on February Street at Smith Street and a black male exited the vehicle. The man then fired four to five shots from a handgun towards a group of about twenty children playing at the park. The man then got back in the car and drove away.

No one was injured in the incident and police were able to recover three 32 caliber rounds that were found in the roadway.

As of Monday (5/29/17), no arrests have been made in relation to the February Street shooting incident.
