Murfreesboro Police issued a silver alert for a missing 72-year old local man, who has now been found. Howard Wayne Patton was last seen yesterday at Sal's Pizza on North Thompson Lane, where employees called police due to his appearing disoriented. Again, authorities report he's been found.

MPD reports when they arrived, he was gone. Authorities were contacted today (Monday) by a friend for a welfare check, but he didn't answer his phone. Police report Patton and his vehicle are missing from his home and his cell phone was inside his house.

Patton has dementia, a heart condition and is diabetic. It is believed he is not taking his medication, which has caused him to get lost in the past. He could be driving his white 2011 Mazda Tribute with TN tag 586-2CS.
