UPDATE: Smyrna shooting - new suspect named

On September 6th, 2014 the Smyrna Police Department responded to a shooting at 379 Rock Springs Road where two victims were shot. Charged that morning was Larry Orozco with 2 counts of Attempted Criminal Homicide and one count of Underage Consumption. Since the date of the shooting, the Smyrna Police Department has worked diligently in trying to identify the other shooter that was at the scene that night.

On Friday afternoon, the Smyrna Police Department announced that there are active warrants for the arrest of Aaron McKee, 24 years of age. McKee is described as a black male, 5'9", 150 pounds, and is known to frequent the Rutherford County/Davidson County area. There are 2 active warrants for Attempted Criminal Homicide on McKee.
