Damage was estimated to be between $5,000 and $10,000 when unknown persons walked through a home at 1513 Middleborough Court in Murfreesboro spray-painting and punching holes in the walls. Reports indicate a previous tenant was evicted in December, but no arrests have been made at this point.

The home in question is owned by a resident of LaVergne, but is used as rental property. Middleborough Court is near MTSU off of Old Lascassas Road.

A second vandalism was reported to a home on Cloister Drive. When a contractor arrived at the home on Monday, he discovered a large amount of water flowing throughout the residence. Carpet, baseboards, drywall, trim, kitchen flooring and more were also damaged. In fact, the damage added up to well over $15,000, according to a police incident report.

Cloister Drive is off of Veterans Parkway near Highway 96.
