Murfreesboro Police detectives are investigating an armed robbery at the Murfreesboro Market on Northwest Broad. The owner, Nareshkumar Patel told police that an unknown male came into the store just before 6 o'clock Saturday, brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash register. Patel along with Bhauesh Patel were forced to also empty their wallets as the suspect fled toward College Street.

The suspect is described as thin and was wearing a green t-shirt, blue jeans and black gloves at the time of the robbery. A witness reported the suspect was in a mid-2000's Honda Civic with clear windows and was seen turning west onto Medical Center Parkway. Murfreesboro Police detectives are investigating.
