Evans responded in an email to WGNS: "Brandon LaDuc, a health teacher and volleyball coach at Siegel Middle School, has been placed on unpaid suspension pending the outcome of an investigation by the Rutherford County Sheriff's office. Because of the criminal investigation, the school district cannot comment further at this time. LaDuc has been employed by Rutherford County Schools since August 2008."
