Saturday (11/18/2017) morning's Veterans Tribute and Parade at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Road, has been cancelled due to bad weather in the forecast.

Parade Committee Chairperson Annette Allen said, "Regretfully, we have to cancel the Veterans Day Parade scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, November 18, 2017, due to the forecasted weather conditions. We want everyone to be safe."

Public Affairs Officer Chris Vadnais noted, "Forecasters have predicted high winds, rain and thunderstorms on Saturday. The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System Parade Committee made the tough decision Friday afternoon in the interest of the safety of veterans who live at the Alvin C. York campus as well as participants and spectators."

Both the live music at 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning and the Veterans Parade at 11:00 in front of the Administration Building at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center have been cancelled Saturday morning.
