Early Tuesday morning, a 17 year old juvenile was shot and killed after allegedly pulling a knife and cutting a person.

The Southern Standard reports that the juvenile was killed after he was spotted in a yard of a residence on Spurlock Road allegedly acting in an unusual manner. He was said to be in the are looking for a relative. When the homeowner approached the young man, he was reportedly not talking coherently.

When he was asked to leave the property he became combative and allegedly pulled a knife on the homeowner and cut him.

This assault was witnessed by a neighbor who decided to intervene. That's when the juvenile was reportedly shot and killed by the neighbor.

The name of the juvenile is 17 year old Scout Sullivan.
