August 3, 2009

A 37-year old educator for the Rutherford County School System has had his license revoked for the next five years. You may recall, Jason Lancaster plead guilty to a sexual related charge after an incident involving inappropriate text messaging with a student. Lancaster worked at Blackman High School and as a result of the conviction, was placed on the sexual offender registry. Lancaster, a former English teacher, resigned from the schools in February.
