Congratulations to retired Sergeant William Blake Boswell, who was presented the Bronze Star Medal 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning (7/23/2016) at the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza.

The award was presented for his meritorious service in connection with military operations against hostile forces in the Republic of Vietnam during the period of October 1968 to October 1969.

Making the presentation in front of the Murfreesboro City Hall were Tennessee Department of Veterans Services Commissioner Many-Bears Grinder, Senator Jim Tracy (R-Shelbyville) and Representative Mike Sparks (R-Smyrna).
