A Mt. Juliet Man was arrested in Rutherford County on a charge of DUI number 4. Phillip Hunnicutt, who works for a company that manufactures traffic control signs, was stopped on North West Broad Street for improper lane use.

Police say they could smell the odor of intoxicant on Hunnicutt prior to him failing a field sobriety test. Once at the Sheriff’s Office to be booked, it was realized that Hunnicutt was driving on a revoked license. His license had been revoked because of  a prior DUI conviction. Records show that he actually had three prior DUI convictions in Rutherford and Davidson Counties. Therefore, the suspect was charged with his 4th DUI. He was also charged with driving on a revoked license for a second time.
