Woman arrested in Murfreesboro for allegedly using stolen credit card

A woman who lives in a hotel located in Murfreesboro has been arrested after allegedly buying jewelry with a stolen credit card. 31-Year old Kimberly Neal went to a local jewelry store where she was said to have purchased two rings valued at about $1,800. The jewelry store then found out the American Express card had been flagged.

Police were called to investigate. The jewelry store helped to seal the case by giving police transaction information for the purchase.

Neal, who told police she is unemployed, was charged with two counts of theft over $1,000 and two counts of the fraudulent use of a credit card. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 9, 2014.
