A 50-year old Portland, Oregon woman has been arrested in Murfreesboro after two allegations of rape surfaced in Rutherford County from ten years ago. The woman, whose name we are not releasing to protect the identity of her children, allegedly raped her son and daughter. At the time, the suspect’s son was 11-years old and her daughter was only 5. A police report shows that the two victims were able to give police very detailed statements about the accusations.

Police say they spent several months working on the case reviewing records and past statements before making an arrest. The arrest report shows that the sexual assaults reportedly took place multiple times while they lived in a home on South Kings Highway in Murfreesboro. So far, only two charges for child rape have been filed, but more charges are pending.
