A woman was seriously injured in a Sunday crash on Cainsville Pike in the Lascassas area. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says she was ejected from the vehicle.

Troopers have not been able to determine what caused the one-car accident.

The highway was shut-down to allow LifeFlight helicopter to land and take the injured female to the Vanderbilt Trauma Center.
