A 21-year old woman was struck by at least two paintballs during an incident being investigated by Murfreesboro Police. The victim told Officer Charles Alexander she was standing in front of building six at The Grove when she was struck by the paintballs.

The victim told Officer Alexander a black, four door truck, drove by and began shooting paintballs in her direction. About 12 paintballs were fired before the vehicle fled the scene. Two additional instances of paintball fire are being investigated and could be related. There are no known suspects.
