Women's Day of Hope: Saturday, April 12th

Day of Hope is an incredible event that honors women in our community, honors women in history, and promotes education, health, and justice for women. 100% of profits go to support the Way of Hope, a local homeless ministry for women and children. It is the vision of The Way of Hope founders for every homeless woman and child in Murfreesboro to have food and a warm, safe place to sleep.

Friday, April 11th

With the efforts of local business sponsors, a two day event will start off, on Friday, April 11th, with an hour of prayer on the Murfreesboro Square, followed by health and safety classes, and concluded with a Women's Worship and Word at New Vision Baptist Church on Thompson Lane.

Saturday, April 12th

 

On Saturday, April 12th, the day will be kicked off at 8:30am with a walk around the square, followed by day full of family fun on the grounds of the Murfreesboro Square. Vendor Booth shopping and silent auction preview will start at 9:00am. An incredible line up of local talent kicks off at 10:00 with a Rockin Contemporary Christian Band "Reigndance and Friends" then Reigndance - (Broad Fusion). 12:00 brings in some Indie Rock by "Stop Motion Radio." 1:00 is “Chasing Lovely,” which is a dynamic Alternative Country duo. 2:00 features “Penny Rae,” a singer songwriter with a twist of Country & Minimal Hipster. 3:00 is “Feedback Revival,” a Southern, Classic, Country, Soul, Riff, and Rock group. 4:00 rocks out with “Who Shot JR.” Lastly, closing out the day’s activities and fun, at 5:00, is amazing “The Eight O’ Five Jive Band,” a high energy, jump/blues band that plays swingin' tunes from the 1940' & '50's.
