$2,000+ Shoplifting case at a Murfreesboro Walmart

A shoplifting theft at the Walmart on Joe B. Jackson Parkway at South Church Street added up to over $2,000.

Reports indicate two men entered the store, stole backpacks and then stuffed the backpacks with merchandise. The two men are accused of leaving the store with three laptop computers, a BB Gun, a cellphone an XBOX and a GPS unit.

Both Johnny Green and Johnny Viravouth were caught when they made a return trip to the same store and admitted to the theft, according to a police report. The two also said that they "Always spend two hours in Walmart" every time they enter the store.

The theft was apparently caught on an in store surveillance video camera.

While the theft was reported on Monday, warrants are reportedly being obtained on Tuesday (12/27/16).
