In our Rutherford County shoplifting story of the day, a woman entered the South Rutherford Boulevard Walmart store on Monday afternoon and allegedly stole over $200 worth of merchandise.

Loss Prevention Officers at Walmart caught the woman as she was leaving the store. Some of the items she reportedly left with included lotion, a rug, a vase and pillows.

The woman was written a misdemeanor citation and sent on her way.
