This concert series has raised more than $900,000 for Alive Hospice over the years thanks to The Bluebird Cafe, sponsors, participating songwriters and fans. By the end of the 2017 series, that total is anticipated to exceed $1 million raised through this event over the last 24 years to benefit Alive's mission-based services including charity hospice care, grief counseling and support, and community education. The need for Alive Hospice's services continues to grow, and with it, so does the need for community support. Alive At The Bluebird is a key way Alive Hospice raises funding to make these services possible.

"There is no better way than to start the New Year than experiencing Alive At The Bluebird, and we look forward to the biggest year yet with more shows than ever before and a phenomenal line-up," said Alive Hospice President and CEO Anna-Gene O'Neal.

"The need for Alive Hospice's mission-based services continues to grow, and with it, so does the need for community support. Alive At The Bluebird is a key way we raise funding to make these services possible, and we are incredibly thankful to The Bluebird, our songwriting community, our sponsors and each person who has attended an Alive benefit show over the years," O'Neal said. "We cannot wait for the 24th Annual Alive At The Bluebird concert series to begin!"

"It's always an amazing month and this January is no different," said Erika Wollam Nichols, GM of The Bluebird. "The Nashville songwriter community continues to bring their talents to this month-long fundraiser and to provide support to Alive Hospice. Many of our Bluebird family have been and are connected to the hospice, through volunteering or in many instances, by utilizing their services for family, friends or themselves. This is a community saying thank you to Alive Hospice in the most beautiful way."
