An 18-year old Walnut Street man was reportedly hit with a brick during an assault. Murfreesboro

Police report Calvin Miles was sitting at the intersection of Walnut and Lokey, just after 11 Wednesday night when an unknown suspect began throwing punches.

Miles told officers that he "beat the guy up." However, as the subject was walking away, he threw a brick at him.

Miles suffered an injury to the left eye and was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital for treatment.

He told police because it was dark, he was unable to get a description of the person who assaulted him or what he was wearing at the time.
