(MURFREESBORO) First Presbyterian Church in downtown Murfreesboro held its 20th annual Chili Cook-off and Brownie Bake-Off Sunday (1/27/2019) night with the chili winner moving on to compete in a county-wide event. Janet Logan took those honors.

Reverend Dr. John Hinkle noted that Logan will represent First Presbyterian Church in Habitat for Humanity's 12th Annual COOK'IN TO BUILD around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse from 11:00AM-1:30PM on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Immediately following the food competition, there was a talent show featuring everything from members performing today's chart stoppers, poetry readings, bluegrass-country and more. For the 19th year, Rob and Kim Joyner coordinated the evening's activities.
