3rd Annual Taste of Hope scheduled for Saturday

More than thirty-five restaurants and vendors will participate in the annual Taste of Hope scheduled for Saturday, September 6 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The Avenue Murfreesboro will host the event which is held in support of the Primary Care and Hope Clinic.

"We're looking forward to a fun and flavorful evening that offers something for everyone," said June Bilbo, Taste of Hope Committee Member. "Visitors will have an opportunity to sample a wide variety of delicious food from local restaurants while supporting a great cause."

Taste of Hope is a culinary festival that features signature menu items from the area's finest restaurants, live entertainment with The Pilots and Mid South Mobile DJs, and a variety of children's activities in the Kids Fun Zone. Event admission is free. Sampling tickets are fifty cents each and can be purchased the day of the event.

Restaurants and vendors participating in this year's event include: A+ Storage, The Academy of Gateway, Alex Belew Catering, Bar Louie, Bunganut Pig,Carl's All Purpose Seasoning, Children's Dentistry of Murfreesboro, Chuy's, Coca-Cola Bottling Co., The Curious Kitchen, Domino's Pizza, Edible Arrangements, The Egg and I, Epicurean Olive Oil Co., Five Senses, Genghis Grill, Gigi's Cupcakes, Jason's Deli, Jump Jump Bounce, Kababi Mediterranean, Legend's Steakhouse, Mimi's Café, Murfreesboro Ice Service, Nacho's Mexican Restaurant, O'Possum's Pub, Oscar's Taco Shop, Papa's Italian Ice, Papa John's Pizza, Publix Supermarket, Purity/Murfreesboro Pure Milk, Rice & Beans Cuban Café, Rita's Italian Ice of Murfreesboro, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Sam's Sports Grill, Sam Adams/DET Distributing, State Farm-Michael Busey, Stones River Total Beverages, and Sundrop/Prescott Bottling.

All proceeds will benefit the Primary Care and Hope Clinic, a non-profit community health center that provides quality, affordable family health services for medically uninsured, underserved, Medicare and TennCare families in Rutherford County and the surrounding area.
