40th Class Reunion for Riverdale and Oakland High Schools in Murfreesboro

Cross town rivals Riverdale and Oakland High Schools will come together in peace for a high school reunion in July.

The two schools will hold their 40th class reunion on Saturday, July 16th at the Stones River Country Club. Most of those that will be in attendance are 58 years old today. Graduation for the 40th year reunion would have taken place in 1976, in case you were curious.

Riverdale opened in 1972 while Oakland opened the very same year on the opposite side of Murfreesboro. Today, enrollment at Oakland stands at about 1,600 students while Riverdale boast an enrollment of 2,200 students.

The 40th reunion for the Warriors and the Patriots will start at 7pm and the cost is $40 per person, after July 9th the cost is $50.
