A 48-year old Sherill Blvd. man was arrested on numerous charges dealing with the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Shawn Andrew Peek was arrested on Wednesday during what started as a narcotic investigation by the Murfreesboro Police Department. During the initial investigation police asked to search Peek’s iPhone and iPad. The subject gave detectives consent and they allegedly uncovered multiple images of child pornography.

Peek was arrested on five counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor charges and according to an arrest report filed on Wednesday, additional charges are pending. He was placed under a $250,000 bond in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. Peek is scheduled to be in General Sessions Court on September 10th.
