The Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department was the recent victim of a threat. Apparently, the threat was made by an 80 year old customer.

The water department employee at their office on Broad Street told police that the customer was upset over his water bill. The man allegedly stated, "He would come back with a shotgun if it wasn't fixed," talking about the billed amount.

As for the customer, police know exactly where he lives as he is billed monthly for the amount of water he uses. Furthermore, he did not return. At this point, an arrest has not been made.
