"It's turkey time in Middle Tennessee!" announced Child Advocacy Center board president Terry Fann. The 8th annual Turkey Tee Off golf tournament benefits the Child Advocacy Centers in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.

Team up with the Child Advocacy Center at Cedar Crest Golf Course at 8 a.m. for breakfast provided by Waffle House before teeing off at 9 a.m. Have your team picture taken, put your putting skills to the test, and aim for a chance to win $10,000 in the hole in one contest. After your round, stick around for lunch from Slick Pig BBQ, prizes, and a silent auction stuffed with amazing items.

"This is more than just a great day of golf," said Tj Patterson, tournament chairman. "It's a chance for the community to support the important work that the Child Advocacy Center is doing on behalf of child abuse victims and their families."

It's "fore" the children. Opportunities to play in the tournament are still available. Contact the Child Advocacy Center by phone at 615-867-9000 or visit www.cacrutherford.org to register today. All proceeds raised provide critically needed services for child abuse victims. Registration covers breakfast, lunch, a picture of your team, and 18 holes of golf.
