A big welcome to a new doctor in Murfreesboro

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic proudly announces the addition of Andrew J. LaMay, D.P.M. to the Podiatry department. Dr. LaMay is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. LaMay received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Services at State University of New York in Buffalo in 1986. He additionally received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science in 1988. Dr. LaMay received his D.P.M. (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in 1990. He completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Humana Hospital in Pembroke Pines, FL in 1991.

A New York native, Dr. LaMay moved to Middle Tennessee in 1991 where he opened private practice facilities. He currently serves on the Medical Executive Committee at Nashville Surgery Center and has participated in FDA trials for new joint prosthetics. Dr. LaMay is the current President of the Middle Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. LaMay is proficient in all areas of podiatry, but his patient care emphasis will focus on Reconstructive Foot Surgery, Flat Feet, Pediatrics, Sports Injuries, and Geriatric Foot Care.

When he is not tending to patients, Dr. LaMay enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Gina, and their five children. His hobbies include running, weight training and conditioning, mountain biking, triathlons and constructing wood toys.
