Murfreesboro Cash Mob is on a mission to support Murfreesboro's locally owned businesses, and they're starting with a family owned business, in Murfreesboro since 1948, "Holden Hardware" downtown Murfreesboro.
"Mobsters" will be descending on "Holden Hardware" this Saturday, September 27th, between the hours of 9:00 am-Noon at 108 S Maple St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 (downtown Murfreesboro). Cash Mob organizer Kimberly Honeycutt said "The goal is to get as many participates as possible to head to the targeted business or event where each participant shows their support by purchasing or browsing in the business or event". "Together we recognize and support the hard-working, locally owned businesses or events".
The idea of Cash Mobs originated in Chagrin Falls, Ohio where it helped boost the locally owned businesses, while providing recognition to their hometown businesses.
