A new Habitat for Humanity Home Dedicated in Murfreesboro

On Tuesday, June 27th, a new home was moved into in Murfreesboro. This is not just any home though, it is a Habitat Home.

Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity dedicated home number 145 in Rutherford County this week. The home was built with the Hinton Family and is located at 304 South Hancock in Murfreesboro, TN. Site construction for this home began on April 19th and was completed with 296 volunteers working some 1334 volunteer hours.

Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit, non-denominational Christian housing ministry, that seeks to eliminate substandard housing by building simple, decent, affordable houses alongside low-income, working families. Homes are built by RCHFH construction staff, partner families and community volunteers. After a home is completed, it is sold to the family at no profit with zero-interest.
