A report of Walking while Intoxicated in Cannon County

A husband in the Woodbury area had to call the Cannon County Sheriff's Deputies on Monday because he was concerned about the safety of his intoxicated wife.

According to Sheriff's Department reports Deputies were dispatched to a an area of K. Parker Road to check on a woman identified and help keep her from getting hit by vehicles. After locating the female at her sister in laws house, the woman said that her husband hit her in the mouth and showed the deputy two teeth that were broken. She described that she had returned from a trip of taking her dog to the vet and her husband was mad at her for getting the dogs tail bobbed off and hit her.

Later on in the investigation, the allegations against the husband were found to be false. Several family members stated that the female fell numerous times while intoxicated and during one of those falls she fell and hit a fan and a stool and that was when she hit her mouth causing the broken teeth.

The female was arrested for Public Intoxication for putting herself and her son in danger walking down the road while drunk.
