WGNS’ Scott Walker and Bob Parks Real Estate Agent Justin Holder are avid photographers who have taken on new photographic projects outside of their daily career.

Holder is taking pictures of strangers he meets on the street and asking them for advice that his two boys will be able to use later in life. His photographs and the answers the people in the pictures give on advice will soon be in a new book at the end of the year. Holder aims to have well over 100 pictures of different people from all walks of life. Holder has a website where you can read many of the stories he has come across called “AdviceForMyBoys.com.” A video that shows exactly what he does when taking his photographs is below.

Walker on the other hand has taken pictures of numerous strangers over the past 12-months and now has many of those pictures online at “SmallTownBigWorld.com.” Walker is photographing people of varied backgrounds while documenting how different people live. Some people live in tents, but refuse to call themselves homeless because this is the lifestyle they chose. Others he has photographed live in beautiful homes because of the successful decisions they have made throughout their life. You can see a video outlining what Walker does and how he approaches strangers below.

Both Walker and Holder will have their photographs on display in August at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda.
