(MURFREESBORO) Motorists traveling by Northfield Boulevard at Sulphur Springs Road will notice land excavation work where a church once was located. Murfreesboro Building and Codes Department told NewsRadio WGNS that a storage facility was being constructed there.

They indicated that four structures will be built there. The largest will be 90,055 square feet, then there will be a 6,000 square foot building, one that is 2,200 and a smaller one with 1,800 square feet. Total square footage is 100,055.

The files with the city indicate the facility will be called Northfield Village.

It is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year.
