Child Advocacy Center Director Sharon De Boer, said the 7th Annual Duck Derby will be May 17 at Sports*Com, located at 120 DeJarnette Lane in Murfreesboro. “The Child Advocacy Center has incredible community support for the Duck Derby,” De Boer said. “The Board of Directors and staff are very grateful to the 675 businesses all over Rutherford and Cannon County that put Duck Derby posters in their windows, duck adoption forms on their counters, and are helping sell ducks.  Those businesses are helping the Child Advocacy Center make a difference in the lives of abused children in our community.”

You only have two weeks left to buy your ducks!  Adopt ducks at any of the businesses listed or on the website at www.boroduckderby.com.  For more information about the event contact the Child Advocacy Center at 615-867-9000 or the Cannon County Child Advocacy Center at 615-563-9915.
