A 28-year old Shelbyville man reports being robbed at gun point at Student Quarters Apartments.

Murfreesboro Police Officer Christopher Dinaso reports being called to the South Rutherford Wal-Mart just after 4 o'clock Saturday morning. The victim told him he was attacked at his friend's apartment. After the suspect reportedly displayed a 9mm handgun, the two began fighting.

The victim, who sustained injuries to his hands, was able to break away from his attacker and ran toward Cook Out and hid. After a short time, he ran to the Wal-Mart, when he called 9-1-1.

Point-five grams of marijuana and cigars were stolen from the victim.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a grey hoodie and a bandanna over his face.
