ALERT CDC is holding a Family Fun Fest in Smyrna again this year.

The 10th annual event aims to help children prepare for the upcoming school year. Family Fun Fest is for kids in grades K-12th.

The event will be on August 5th, (4pm-8pm at 102 Ridley St, Smyrna). The first 1000 children will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies, along with bags filled with hygiene products. There will also be free haircuts, food, activities, giveaways, and music at the festival.


This year, the Music City Strings will be performing and there will be free Activities by Home Depot the Linebaugh Library, and the Rutherford County North YMCA.
